On Friday, January 22nd, Lucky Strike Live on Hollywood and Highland will host Monster Energy’s Ride for Dime Dimebash, a benefit concert honoring Pantera guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.
The live concert event will feature intimate performances by members of Pantera, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Black Label Society, Hatebreed, Type 0 Negative, Danzig, Machine Head, Stone Sour, King’s X, Devil Driver, Prong, Kyng, Armored Saint, and many more.
Tickets are on sale now for $33, and proceeds will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Doors are at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Space is limited and the event is exclusively 21 and over.
“I think the thing that embodies this event and entity is unity; bringing everyone together to celebrate the music played and loved by Darrell and to benefit the foundation of a very beloved man, Mr. Ronnie James Dio,” says Rita Haney, longtime girlfriend of Abbott and the person who knew him best. “Dimebag Darrell was notorious for giving us all so much, in some way, even to this day. So to be able to give back in his name is such an honor. With all of this amazing talent in one place it makes for a damn good celebration! You never know who might show up. C’mon out and Getcha Pull!”
